I believe in the possibility of a personal statement that is found in true craftsmanship.  We are finally returning to the tradition of individuality. I am pleased that my work is a step away from everyday sameness. It is with reverence that I join the potters and clay workers that have come before. This has been an important part of the human evolution and I am ever respectful of the earth and the clay and all we have shared together.

When we touch a handmade object there is such special meaning, almost a living interaction with the artisan who created it. We respond positively to handmade pieces because we are connecting to our own true essence.
